In 2024 “Summer School of Latvian Language and Culture” for diaspora youth will be only on held ONLINE.
This summer school is for diaspora youth (aged 17–35) with no or little to good prior knowledge of Latvian.
This year The University of Latvia in collaboration with the Latvian Language Agency and the Ministry of Education and Science organizes the summer school for diaspora youth for the 7th time. The summer school is funded by the budget programme “State Language Policy and Administration” administered by the Ministry of Education and Science.
In the summer school, the language of communication during the Latvian classes, and lectures is English.
